CGU students have 2 Medallion for Excellence in Graphic Design Technology in IV WorldSkills Russia Inter-University Competitions, 2020 .
We are extremely delighted to inform you that C.V. Raman Global University students and their mentors participated in IV WorldSkills Inter-University Competition 2020 which was held from 1st to 7th December 2020, wherein competitors and experts work from the distributed venues or from home. The WorldSkills Russia team has conducted this IV WorldSkills Inter-University Competition in remote face-to-face format from Moscow.
In the IV World Skills Inter-University Competition more than 738 participants from 77 Universities of Russia (39 regions), 70 experts and competitors from India, 251 guest participants took part (except Russia) from 30 countries, C.V. Raman Global University, Electronics Sector Skills Council of India, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) and Kumaraguru College of Technology, of course yours))
While CGU students supported by their mentors participated in various skills in this competition, two students of Graphic Design Technology have won the Medallion for Excellence. The problem statements/tasks given by the experts were of a high level of difficulty making the competition very challenging for all the participants. The solutions of the participants were evaluated by a Chief Expert and two other experts and students were evaluated by following the marking scheme format of WorldSkills.
